Demo and Poster Sessions - SEKE 2017

SEKE 2017 (http://ksiresearchorg.ipage.com/seke/seke17.html) invites technical demonstrations of innovations, research, and experimental studies in emerging technologies. Topics of interest are in line, but not limited to, the topics covered by the main conference theme. Submissions from both industry and academia are encouraged.

You may submit a demo or a poster for a paper already submitted to any other SEKE conference session. You still must follow the instructions below to prepare and submit your work for this session.

Demos/posters not associated with a paper are also encouraged.

A best poster/demo award will be granted by SEKE 2017 based on the poster/demo's innovation, technical contribution, and presentation.

The extended abstracts of accepted posters and demos will be included in the proceedings of SEKE 2017 but are not considered conference papers.

Wireless Internet access may not be available, therefore demos must not depend on its availability. Poster stands will be provided for poster papers. Demo presenters will be responsible of bringing and setting up any computer equipment needed for their demos.

The poster should be approximately 36 inches by 40 inches, and should include a clear title and author name(s). Authors should set the paper size of their poster appropriately within PowerPoint (or their preferred software package) to avoid any deterioration to image quality that would otherwise occur. Please leave a 2 inches by 2 inches space at the bottom corner of your poster to allow for a small number label to be affixed. Poster stands will be provided by the conference hotel. In case there are insufficient number of poster stands, tapes will be provided so that authors can tape their posters to the side walls of the conference room.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The extended abstract and demo presentation must be all in English.

Extended abstract should be submitted using the following URL: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=seke2017 (Please use Internet Explorer as the browser).

Acceptance notification: May 28, 2017
Camera-ready submission: May 31, 2017

REGISTRATION

Registration fee is the same as the main conference registration. Any poster/demo paper must have at least one registered author.

A poster/demo paper is limited to one page but the author may purchase two extra pages for a poster or one extra page for a demo, so the maximum length of a poster/demo paper is three/two pages.

For demo only, if you have already registered for another paper and you are the same author who will present the paper and give the demo, then you only need to pay the page charge for the extended abstract of the demo (either one page or two pages).
